Buying a vehicle service contract in Wyoming

Wyoming requires service-contract providers to register with the Department of Insurance. The department says consumers can request its active provider list from company licensing staff.

A registered provider may market contracts without submitting each form for departmental review or approval. Do not treat registration as approval of the wording or a guarantee that a repair will be paid. Read the actual exclusions, claim procedure and cancellation terms before purchasing.

Check with Wyoming Department of Insurance.
