How we are paid when you use Chaiz
We receive a referral fee from Chaiz for successful referrals. This does not affect your price or either company's editorial policy. An affiliate link does not establish that a plan is right for your vehicle.
How the referral fee works
Chaiz pays us for successful referrals through our affiliate links. Cancellations and partner terms can affect whether a fee is payable. The referral fee is separate from the plan's price and does not promise a saving.
What a commission does not change
Complaint counts, recall records, repair estimates and the calculator's arithmetic do not change because a partner pays us. A high modeled repair bill does not establish that the repair will happen, that your vehicle qualifies, or that a contract covers it.
What happens when you click
Referral measurement and advertising sharing are separate privacy choices. Our own optional records can begin after a location check identifies the US outside California, unless a saved refusal or browser opt-out applies. If either purpose is permitted, we create a random referral ID and send it to Chaiz so a later sale can be linked to that click. We collect only the attribution fields permitted for that purpose. If both are off, the link works without our unique referral ID or optional tracking cookies.
Meta and Google browser advertising tags are paused as of October 18, 2026. They do not send page views, calculator completions or Chaiz link-click events. Separately reviewed purchase reporting remains subject to the original referral's current advertising eligibility: Meta can use an eligible notice-and-opt-out record or explicit permission; Google requires explicit permission. An admin's approval cannot replace the required visitor record. Eligible Meta purchases can be sent directly after review; Google purchase reporting uses a separately prepared file. Who sells and administers the contract
Chaiz is a third-party marketplace. Eligibility, price, coverage, waiting periods, exclusions and claim decisions depend on the chosen contract and administrator. A vehicle service contract is not a manufacturer warranty, and pre-existing problems are generally excluded.
