What this site records

Contact AutoWarranty.Autos at me@autowarranty.autos about privacy, access or deletion requests. This notice describes this site's implementation; third-party sites have their own policies.

Using the calculator and research

The calculator does not ask for your name, email, payment details or VIN. Vehicle and location selections may appear in the page address or a research request. Quote price, deductible and mileage inputs are used in the calculator in your browser; they are not included in the vehicle-research request or sent to Chaiz as a prefilled application.

Our server and hosting providers receive ordinary connection information when serving pages, such as the requested address, browser information and connection IP. Hosting logs are separate from the affiliate database described below.

First-party attribution cookies

When a page runs JavaScript, it can set aw_attribution and aw_session before an affiliate click. Attribution records the first visit and the latest attributed visit, including allowed campaign parameters and advertising click IDs when present.

The attribution cookie's expiry is renewed for 90 days when capture runs. The session identifier expires 30 minutes after it is set or refreshed. These are rolling cookie lifetimes, not deadlines for deleting server records. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the calculator and public research do not require them.

Following an affiliate link

A referral gets a cryptographically random click identifier. It does not embed a name or email, but it links the referral to a possible conversion. The database records time, landing and click pages, button placement, destination, referrer, campaign tags, first and last attribution, session ID, browser, user agent and device type.

Where server-side IP hashing is configured, the affiliate database stores a keyed IP hash instead of the raw connection IP. The hash is pseudonymous and can link records; it is not anonymous data. The random click identifier and the affiliate campaign parameters are sent to Chaiz in the outbound URL.

Conversion reports from Chaiz

If Chaiz sends a conversion report, we associate it with the click and may store order reference, sale value, commission, currency, product, status and additional reported parameters. Credential-like fields and the configured postback secret are redacted before storage. These reports support attribution, commission reconciliation and troubleshooting, not a guarantee that a claim will be paid.

Storage and requests

Referral and conversion records remain in the site's configured database. The current application does not automatically delete these records when a cookie expires. Contact us to request review or deletion; include an approximate date and relevant page, but do not send passwords, payment details or a full VIN. Some records may be needed to reconcile transactions or meet applicable obligations.

This notice does not promise a fixed retention period or a particular legal outcome. We will update it when the operator's retention rules or data practices change. Cookies can be cleared immediately using your browser settings.

Leaving this site

Information entered on Chaiz is governed by Chaiz's privacy policy and the relevant provider's terms. FixCatalogue and official source links also lead to independent sites. We do not receive the personal information you submit there merely because you follow a research link.
