What the Lincoln records can tell us

The Lincoln profiles cover 7 nameplates and 49 model-year entries. The matched source records contain 2,225 submitted complaints across 49 model-year entries. The count does not adjust for vehicle sales or time on the road.

Engine leads the displayed component tags with 566 mentions. One complaint can name several components. The tags describe submitted reports, not the chance of a repair.

The matched records contain 161 unique vehicle recall campaigns across 410 recall/model-year entries. A campaign can cover several model years. Recall remedies are separate from a paid service contract. Recall and complaint archives were retrieved 2026-10-18. The 6,461 manufacturer communications retain the 2026-09-03 source snapshot; they were not refreshed with those archives.
